Willie McGee is a former major leaguer who won two batting titles (1985 and 90) and was named Major League Baseball's 1985 National League MVP while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was a four-time All-Star who secured three Gold Gloves (1983 85 and 86) for his flawless fielding and stellar play in the outfield. This lot includes one of McGees professional model fielders gloves from early in his career (1982-83). The game-used MacGregor Premium Pro Hide Willie McGee professional model glove shows ample wear and is autographed by McGee in two different places in black fine-point marker. His signature appears on both the back of the ring finger and pinkie areas and rate 8-9/10. He even added the inscription: Official Gold Glove 83 between the two signatures.
