Presented here is a rare 1982-83 Philadelphia 76ers game-worn road warm-up jacket from journeyman center/forward Marc McNamara a veteran of eight NBA seasons between 1982-91 that included stops in Philadelphia San Antonio Kansas City Los Angeles and Orlando. The 1982-83 campaign was McNamara's rookie season out of Cal Berkley and saw the 76ers roll to the franchise's third NBA Championship in club history with a group led by the likes of Julius Erving Moses Malone and Maurice Cheeks helping propel the team to a 65-17 regular season. They plowed through the playoffs at a 12-1 clip sweeping the Lakers in the NBA Finals.
The short-sleeve snap-button jacket is simply sensational with vivid blue knit highlighted by red and white elastic piping on the sleeves collar and tail. Proper Wilson size 48 tagging appears at the back of the collar with a second tag for "Pearson Sporting Goods" below and a blue strip tag below that with "82 31" (year and his uniform number) embroidered in white. The classic 76ers crest is sewn on the left chest in red white and blue tackle twill and embroidery. "PHILADELPHIA" appears across the back in red-on-white tackle twill sewn directly to the jacket. The iconic NBA embroidered logo patch appears on the front right tail in enormous proportions 6 inches in length.
