This 1980 Topps #482 Rickey Henderson rookie card has been graded PSA NM-MT 8. As the all-time stolen base king's true rookie issue, this card is one of the most actively traded in the hobby, and PSA's population reports reflect a card that, while not scarce in raw terms, remains genuinely difficult to find above the NM-MT 8 threshold due to chronic print-line and centering issues inherent to the 1980 Topps printing run. An NM-MT 8 grade indicates a card with strong original gloss, sharp corners showing only minor softness, and clean surfaces free of creasing, with centering and print quality within PSA's accepted tolerances for the grade. Given the well-documented difficulty of this issue grading higher, an NM-MT 8 Henderson rookie represents a strong, accessible example near the top of the card's typical grading distribution.
