In 1980 right-hander Fergie Jenkins posted a 12-12 record while pitching for the Texas Rangers. He fanned 128 batters that season on his way to posting a 3.77 ERA. This lot includes his game-used Rawlings professional model 2-P-F glove from the 80 campaign that shows plenty of wear. Both his name (Ferguson) and his uniform number (31) can be seen in faded black fine-tip marker on the outside of the glove. His name runs across the pinkie area while his number is written just above the thumb location right below the Rawlings red logo. Cool game-used piece of equipment from another of baseballs memorable hurlers.
