Offered here is an interesting Chicago Bulls game-worn warm-up jacket sported by two players during the 1982-83 season. 5-time All-Star forward Larry Kenon was the first to put on this white short-sleeve button-down jacket emblazoned with "CHICAGO" ironed-on in red outlined in black. No. "35" appears in similar fashion on the right chest above a large NBA embroidered patch. It is appropriately tagged by Rawlings inside the front tail with size 44 and 4" extra length indicated. A large ironed-on Bulls logo covers the back below the name on back.
And that's where it gets interesting. The Bulls waived Kenon who by that point was in the twilight of his career five games into the season. In March they signed forward Larry Spriggs. The ironed-on NOB "SPRIGGS" clearly covers the removed letters of Kenon both of whom wore No. 35. Neither player was much of factor in a Bulls uniform so this jacket got plenty of use in warm-ups and on the bench during games as its heavily worn condition attests. The polyester knit garment with a big red collar is a classic for the early 80's era.
