The 1979 MLB All-Star Game was held at the Kingdome in Seattle, WA, with over 58,000 in attendance. 1979 would mark the 50th anniversary of the MLB's All-Star Game and featured two star-studded teams. Adidas was the sponsor during this midsummer classic, providing a unique flair to the warm-ups for this outing.

This lot offers Rod Carew's American League warm up jacket and pants in a powder blue color. Carew also included his signature on the collar of jacket. The 1979 All-Star Game logo is present on the right chest and the Adidas logo on the left chest. Classic Adidas pinstripes run down the sides of the jacket and pants. Proper tagging exists throughout. 

The signature has been certified by PSA/DNA.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
