High grade set with the vast majority of cards presenting NM-MT to MINT or better condition. Originally assembled by our consignor as his own personal set while sorting down a vending case to assemble sets for sale. The key #19 Wayne Gretzky Rookie was sent to PSA and came back NM-MT 8. Card appears to have 4 MT or better looking corners and displays pack fresh color with perfect picture registration. The only thing not perfect is the centering. While the top to bottom ratio is 50/50 side to side the centering is only 55/45. We still thought it had a chance to "9". Still there are loads of grading possibilities to be had from this sharp set! Also included is a complete set of 20 1979-80 Topps decal/sticker inserts plus one variation in NM-MT or better condition. SMR book value for the key Gretzky Rookie card alone is $1000.
