Offered here are two 1979-80 Marcel Dionne game-used items from the prime of his Hall of Fame career: a pair of CCM game-worn skates and a game-used CCM wood stick. Dionne set a then-NHL rookie record in 1971-72 by scoring 77 points as a member of the Detroit Red Wings. But his two best seasons were 1979-80 and '80-81 when he notched 137 and 135 points respectively as a star Center with the Los Angeles Kings. Dionne was awarded the Art Ross Trophy for scoring in 1980. He also won the Ted Lindsay Award (formally called the Lester B. Pearson Award) in 1979 and 1980 and the Lady Byng Trophy for sportsmanship in 1975 and 1977. He is ranked fifth in points with 1771 and ninth in career assists with 1040. He had eight 100-plus point seasons in career trailing only Gretzky's 14 and Mario Lemieux's 10.

The size 6 hockey skates have the red and black "CCM" logo stamped at the back of the heels imprinted on the leather section along with "Super Tacks" imprinted on the outside of each heel. They show incredible wear with faded and scraped leather on the exterior heel and tongues as well as several contact markings on the side leather panels. The white laces are intact and problem-free. The natural-colored wood stick has the CCM logo stamped twice on the front of the shaft with its "PPM 101" model in between. It comes with his original white tape jobs on the knob and the blade. His number "16" is marked in black on the grip. On the blade Dionne has autographed the white tape on the blade in 8/10 blue pen with the inscription "L.A. KINGS 79-80". Both tape jobs have toned to an off-white color and are slightly torn from wear. The tape on the blade has black and brown use marks. What an amazing combo of Dionne game-used pieces for your hockey collections!

Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.

Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
