1979-80 Toronto Maple Leafs road jersey game worn and signed by tough defenseman Dave Hutchison. Hutchison has signed on the back in 8/10 black felt tip pen. In 1979-80 he played in 31 games scoring 1 goal with 6 assists. Large Maple Leafs logo patch sewn on front. Hutchison's number "23" and Maple Leaf in white sewn on each sleeve. "HUTCHISON" in blue on white nameplate sewn on back along with large blue number "22". Size XL - 48/washing instructions tag sewn in back of collar. "MASKA" stitched in blue on back tail. Fight strap sewn in back. Jersey displays very heavy game use with several team repairs including 3 large ones and light stains. An accompanying handwritten letter from Hutchison to John Hamilton reads "John I hope you enjoy my jersey in your sports museum. I haven't forgot about Bobby's stick. Talk to you soon Hutch. P.S. I'll be out in L.A. Jan. '95 hope to see you then."
