This game used 1978 Official MLB World Series baseball was used during Game 2, when Ron Cey delivered a 3-run homer off of Jim 'Catfish' Hunter in the 6th inning. This hit helped secure the win for the Dodgers and added to a total of four RBIs for Cey during the game.

This baseball has been autographed by Ron Cey on the sweet spot for excellent eye appeal. The panel below included the following description: "GAME BALL, 1978 WORLD SERIES GAME #2, WON 4-3. 3-RUN HOMER OFF JIM HUNTER IN THE 6TH INNING. 4 RBI'S." 

A 75th World Series commemorative stamp is included with a Rawlings logo on adjacent panels. The baseball has been derived directly from the collection of Ron Cey. The autograph has been certified by PSA/DNA.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
