From 6-7 forward Harry Davis of the Cleveland Cavaliers comes thisold school 1978-79 road gamer that shows adequate wear but remains inoutstanding condition despite the passage of nearly four decades. Daviswas drafted by the Cavs in 1978 No. 33 overall out of Florida State andspent only his rookie season in Cleveland. After a brief stint with the San Antonio Spurs the following season he embarked on a six-yearrun in the CBA.
The road shirt in Cavs wine comes in fine-mesh with "Cavaliers" across the frontin gold-on-white tackle twill and Davis' No. 40 inthe same fashion front and back. His name appears in gold tackle twill affixed directly across theback. Whiteand gold elastic panels adorn the sides collar and yokes. Theappropriate dual Sand-Knit Size 46 tagging appears at the front of thetail. The shirt has a bit of fraying of the white and gold some lightpuckering of his number on the back and a bit more fraying of the goldstitching on his NOB. Nice early Cavs gamer in a rare and popular style.
