The self-proclaimed "straw that stirred the drink" Reggie Jackson was a winner wherever he played. The outspoken flamboyant muscular outfielder played in 17 post-season series earning five World Series rings over a 16-year stretch. He won the home run title playing for 3 different teams and provided some of the most dramatic home runs in baseball history. His three-home run performance in Game 6 of the 1977 World Series stands as a signature moment in the history of the Fall Classic and forever earned him the title Mr. October.

Dating from the height of Reggies reign in the Bronx this 1977-79 Adirondack model 288RJ Reggie Jackson professional model bat measures 35 inches and weighs 34.5 ounces. It exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a double handle crack that has been repaired. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel. Cleat marks can be seen on the right left and back barrel. Also visible on the bat are green and blue bat rack streaks and there is a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number (288RJ) is stamped into the knob. Jackson's number (44) and the weight (4) are written on the knob in black marker. Reggie added his signature on the front barrel also in black marker. The bats exceptional usage traits have warranted a perfect GU10 grade from John Taube of PSA/DNA. Given its ideal era of usage and perfect GU10 rating this certainly ranks in the upper tier of Jackson gamers seen in the marketplace.

LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (GU10) and full LOA from PSA/DNA (auto.).
