The 1976 Oakland Raiders thundered into the Super Bowl with a 13-1 regular-season record and a 2-0 mark in the playoffs. These AFC Champions would enter the Rose Bowl on Sunday afternoon January 9 1977 having won 12 games in a row and needing one more win to earn their first World Championship of Professional Football. They would not be denied roaring to victory over the Minnesota Vikings 32-14.

"He changed the game really" says former Raiders coach Tom Flores. "It was never a glamorous position until he came along."

Raider Owner-Managing General Partner Al Davis had crafted his team with meticulous care. Along with Davis five Raider players from this team would later be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of FameFred Biletnikoff Willie Brown Ted Hendricks Gene Upshaw and offensive tackle Art Shell. Others including punter Ray Guy and head coach John Madden would be finalists for this prestigious honor.

This stunning Oakland Raiders championship ring was presented to Raiders heralded punter Ray Guy for his contribution to the teams 1977 Super Bowl XI victory. The gold ring size 13.25 reads "Oakland Raiders World Champions" on the face and features twenty-eight sparkling diamonds most set into a football pattern. "14K" is engraved upon the inside of the band. Oakland Raider player rings of this caliber from the teams first Super Bowl Championship are rarely seen in the marketplace.

Includes a LOA from Ray Guy.
