Nice set of 20 official bronze medallions of the 1976 Montreal Summer Olympic Games. Obverse shows view of Olympic Stadium (former home to the Montreal Expos) where opening and closing ceremonies took place. Reverse is Montreal city skyline between the '76 Olympic logo and "XXIe Olympiade Montreal 1976" below. Made of pure bronze each measures 50mm in diameter and weighs 60 grams. Produced by Huguenin Switzerland and certified by Organizing Committee of the Games of the XXI Olympiad. Each medal is in Mint condition in its own red presentation cases with a COA denoting its unique limited edition number in the series. 197600 in all were produced.
Includes a Letter of Authenticity from renowned Olympic memorabilia expert Ingrid O'Neil.
