One of only 4 perfect GEM MINT PSA 10's. The popular Carter is best know as the leader of the 1986 World Champion New York Mets. His 2 home urns and 9 RBI's in the Series helped bring New York the victory. The versatile catcher was an 11 time All Star over his long 19 year career spent mostly with the Montreal Expos and the New York Mets. Twice he was the All Star Game Most Valuable Player and in 1989 he won the Roberto Clemente Award given to the player combining good play and strong work in the community. Always a fan favorite Carter left an impression wherever he played. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003.
