First-ballot Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski was elected to 18 All-Star games and was the 1967 AL MVP when he won the Triple Crown. The seven-time Gold Glove Award winner has his No. 8 retired by the Boston Red Sox. Presented here is a very fine Yaz game jersey dating to the Red Sox memorable AL Championship season in 1975. Inside the rear collar is a McAULIFFE manufacturers tag. Attached below is a size 42 tag. On the center front tail is a 1975 year tag with a tag with washing instructions attached below. Across the front is "BOSTON" in classic Old English lettering. On the back is player number 8. Both are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. Yastrzemski signed the jersey below BOSTON in blue marker. This jersey is properly tagged throughout shows excellent wear and remains completely original and unaltered. An exceptional gamer from the most popular and celebrated Red Sox star since Ted Williams.
