One of the great traditions in baseball takes place every summer at the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Not only are the inductees of that particular year on hand to take their rightful place in the hallowed "Hall" they are supported by a cast of past HOFers who sit on the stage behind them as they give their heartfelt induction speeches. Offered is an outstanding baseball that was signed at a 1974 Hall of Fame Induction Day in Cooperstown. That year saw teammates and lifelong “partners in crime” Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford enter the Hall as the lone inductees.
26 autographs appear on this near pristine OAL (MacPhail) baseball including: Joe Medwick (SS) Hank Greenberg (SS) Buck Leonard (SS) George "High Pockets" Kelly Cool Papa Bell Warren Spahn Joe Cronin Lloyd Waner Ted Lyons Monte Irvin Bill Terry Satchel Paige Bob Feller Whitey Ford Stan Musial Warren Giles Waite Hoyt Red Ruffing Rube Marquard Jesse Haines Stan Coveleski Chas Gehringer Harry Hooper and Ralph Kiner. Signatures are in mostly 8-9/10 blue ink on off-white ball that appears like new. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
