Pete Rose entered 1972 fresh off of his fifth-straight All Star appearance in 1971. He led all of baseball with 198 hits in 1972 good for a .308 average on the year.
This '72 Topps #559 remains in immaculate condition, amounting for the near-perfect MINT 9 grade from PSA. Pearly-white borders are accompanied by sharp corners and a vibrantly colored face.
