A rare and historically significant piece of basketball memorabilia — this 1972 Indiana Pacers ABA Championship ring was presented to team captain and standout guard Freddie Lewis, one of the most celebrated players in Pacers history.

 

This particular ring is a replacement version that Lewis later personally modified, adding a diamond center stone to enhance its visual impact and individuality. Crafted in 10K gold, the size 12.5 ring features the classic Pacers design elements celebrating their 1971–72 ABA Championship season, when Indiana captured its second ABA title under coach Bob Leonard. "Freddie Lewis" and "HJ10K" are etched on the inside of the band.

 

Freddie Lewis played an instrumental role in the Pacers’ dynasty years, earning 1972 ABA Playoffs MVP honors for his leadership and clutch performances. Rings linked to such a central figure in the team’s success are seldom offered, making this example especially desirable to serious collectors of vintage basketball memorabilia.
