Offered is an ABA Dallas Chaparrals warm-up jacket that was worn by power forward/center Bob Netolicky during his lone season with the Chaparrals. A fan favorite and one of the genuine stars of the American Basketball Association over his nine-year career he was a four-time All-Star and played with two ABA Championship squads. "NETOLICKY" is featured on the back of the zip-up jacket in red-on-blue tackle twill lettering with evidence of a name change visible. Sewn below the player's name is the team's colorful red-white-and-blue "Bird" emblem in spectacular chenille. "DALLAS" is featured on the front also in red-on-blue tackle twill and the arm openings and waistline are lined in blue-red-and-blue stretch-ribbed knit. On the inner lower portion of the right-side zipper panel a "Rawlings" label denotes size "42" alongside a smaller tag with washing instructions. The embroidered on felt "Dallas All-America City" emblem logo in red white blue and gold appears on the left sleeve. Heavy wear is evident in the form of several small stains and scattered areas of toning throughout. Netolicky wore this very garment during the entire 1972-73 season a campaign in which the All-Star averaged 18.7 points per game.
