Very evenly matched NM to NM-MT looking 1971 Topps Baseball complete set of 752 with the vast majority of cards falling within that range. Set was purchased by consignor from Wholesale Cards Company back in 1971 and kept by him until this auction. We sent 9 key cards to PSA for grading. They are: #5 Thurman Munson NM PSA 7 20 Reggie Jackson NM PSA 7 100 Pete Rose NM PSA 7 400 Hank Aaron EX-MT PSA 6 513 Nolan Ryan NM PSA 7 525 Ernie Banks MISCUT 600 Willie Mays NM PSA 7 630 Roberto Clemente NM PSA 7 709 Baylor/Baker EX-MT PSA 6. Needless to say we felt some of the graded cards deserved better. Over $1000 in SMR value for the 8 graded cards alone.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method. If you would like your items shipped in a different method, such as UPS/FedEx Next Day or UPSFedEx 2-Day, you must contact our Post Sale Services Manager Veronica Rodriguez by emailing customerservice@scpauctions.com to discuss alternative shipping instructions.
