“The Fight of the Century” took place on March 8 1971 between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. Frazier won in 15 rounds via unanimous decision. It was the first time that two undefeated boxers fought each other for the heavyweight title. This lot includes a framed and dual signed “Fight of the Century” pennant by Ali and Frazier. Both signatures are in uniformed black sharpie (8/10). Pennant presents in like new condition. Also included is a rare (unsigned) framed (28.5”X21”) closed-circuit fight poster from “The Fight of the Century” featuring both Ali and Frazier in large format. The poster has some handwriting on it with “1971” inscribed twice as well as a few tiny notes. This poster is in overall GOOD to VG condition with a few tears and signs of aging. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
