1971 Oakland A's home vest style flannel jersey game worn by Athletics shortstop Bert Campaneris. Campaneris played with the Kansas City/Oakland Athletics from 1964 through 1976 and is the franchise record holder for career games played (1795) hits (1882) and at bats (7180). Six times he led the American League in stolen bases and retired with the seventh most steals in history (649). Large kelly green "A's" timmed in white on left breast with "19" in the same green with white trim on the lower right. Back has a large "19" in the same kelly green with white trim. Kelly green and white trim at both sleeves and around collar. McAuliffe Size 40 and "71" tags sewn on front tail. Two horizontal pin hole size rows across lower left side on front where jersey was once framed. Black marker "D. WOODY" at back of collar covers other lighter black marker indicating jersey was sent down and used in minors. Jersey exhibits moderate/heavy wear with the "19" on back coming loose in two 1 1/2" places. Despite these totally original looking jersey retains good eye appeal. Immaculate game used jersey from one of the most prominent players in A's history!
