1970's Rawlings Professional Model first baseman's glove game used by popular Los Angeles Dodger Steve Garvey. "RAWLINGS DCT-I markings on heel. "For The Professional Player" marking to right of webbing in pocket and on outside above Rawlings red tag. Faded "6" and "GARVEY" in black marker on thumb. Glove exhibits tremendous game use but remains totally together. Four straight years from 1974 through 1977 Garvey won consecutive Gold Gloves for his fielding making only 27 errors over that time span.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Helms Athletic Foundation/LA84 Collection.
