This lot features a pair of 1970s-80s team-issued equipment bags from the New York Yankees and New York Mets. The red white and blue Yankees bag likely from the mid-‹70s shows considerably more wear and tear with the Yankees name and blue NY logo deteriorating over time on either end. The dual-handled bag includes the proper Gerry Cosby & Co. athletic outfitters manufacturers tag on the outside and measures 30 long by 15 wide. The blue orange and white Mets bag appears to a newer version likely mid-to-late80s and appears in near pristine shape. The dual-handled bag also measures 30 long by 15 wide and includes Triple M Bag Co. manufacturers strip tag on the side.
