This lot features a full 1970 World Series ticket graded and encapsulated by PSA. The ticket from Game 5 at "Memorial Stadium" in Baltimore (Orioles 9, Reds 3), The Reds would strike first plating 3 runs in the first off Baltimore's ace Mike Cuellar, the Orioles would plate 2 in the bottom half of the first off the O's Jim Merritt. Crazy Horse (Mike Cuellar) would settle in and shut the Reds out for the remainder of the contest. Baltimore would go on to clinch their second W.S.title, after losing to the "Miracle Mets" in 1969. The MVP honors would go to Frank Robinson after hitting .429 and playing "other-worldly defense at third (which) gave Reds right-handed hitters nightmares through the Series." as described by Total Baseball. The ticket is graded EX-Mt 6 (none graded higher).
