In twenty-one seasons the flamboyant and outspoken Reggie Jackson was a winner wherever he played. Reggie took part in 11 division titles six pennants and five World Championships while playing for four different teams. He more than earned the nickname Mr. October with a .357 lifetime World Series average that was nearly 100 points above his lifetime regular-season average and the best career World Series slugging average at .755. His total of 563 HR was sixth all-time when he retired. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993. Jackson wore this Oakland A's home jersey during the 1970 season. This white flannel vest style jersey is lettered A's on the left breast with the No. 9 appearing on both the right breast and reverse. All the letters and numbers are green with gold trim. A McAuliffe label is situated on the left front tail and directly below are a 44 size tag and a 70 year tag. The garment is original and unaltered displaying measurable game wear throughout with hardly a whisper of fraying on any of the stitching front or back or on the piping around the arm wells and collar. An already spectacular piece is further enhanced by a careful Jackson autograph and inscription on the front below the "A's" insignia done in black Sharpie with inscriptions added of his No. 9 and "1970 Game Use Used Home Jersey.
