Lou Brock helped to revolutionize the art and science of base-running as he totaled 938 stolen bases during his 19-year career. A six-time All-Star selection, Brock also accumulated more than 3,000 hits to help lead the St. Louis Cardinals to three National League pennants and two World Series championships. This Hillerich & Bradsby model R161 Lou Brock bat comes from 1970-72 and exhibits evidence of excellent use. Some checking from repeated ball contact is visible on the back barrel. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel and there's a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number R161 is stamped on the knob, and Brock's number 20 is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. If all that wasn't tantalizing enough for a collector, Brock has also signed and inscribed "Good Luck" are on the front barrel in black marker. Accompanied by an LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA GU 8.
