The 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks were built around one of the NBAs early versions of the Big Three. The Bucks swung a deal to add 10-year veteran guard Oscar Robertson to a core of second-year players in Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor) and Bob Dandridge. The result was electrifying. The Bucks won 66 games including a then-record 20-game winning streak on their way to the franchises only championship. Abdul-Jabbar who won the league MVP averaged 31.7 points and 16.0 rebounds. Robertson 32 settled into a complementary role for the first time in his career but still averaged 19.4 points and 8.2 assists. Dandridge put up 18.4 points and 8.0 rebounds.
This Seamless Sam Jones signature model nylon basketball was vintage signed by eleven members of the NBA champion 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks including Lew Alcindor (scarce on a team ball) Robertson (signed Big O0) Embry Boozer McGlocklin Winkler Cunningham Smith McLemore Costello (coach) and Webb. All signatures are in black marker rating 7-8 out of 10. A vintage notation 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks World Chapions also appears to be written in the same black marker. The ball itself is in about EX condition with an area of surface bubbling around the Sam Jones facsimile signature. A rare team signed basketball from one of the great teams of the era.
