The 1969 New York Yankees were known best for two things the 26 game rookie campaign of Thurman Munson and Mickey Mantle’s farewell tour. This Spalding Pro Horsehide Cover Official Pro League Ball boasts 23 signatures including a scarce rookie signature of Thurman Munson in bold 8/10 black ink. The rest of the signatures include Stottlemyre (CH) Pepitone (CH) Downing Wood and others in black mostly black ballpoint ranging 6-9/10. The ball is in NM condition adding to the overall presentation of this great find. Written in red ink is “1969 N.Y. Yankees” on the sweet spot Stottlemyre and Pepitone have been deemed clubhouse signed by PSA/DNA.
