This unique tie clasp from 1969 commemorates the 100th season of Major League Baseball. 1969 was notable as the "Miracle Mets" beat the Orioles in the World Series and the regular season marked the addition of two expansion teams in the National League (Montreal Expos & San Diego Padres) and two in the American League (Kansas City Royals & Seattle Pilots).
