This is a wonderful artifact from one of the great sluggers of the 1960s a pair of game-worn pants from Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew. Playing in a decade when pitchers were dominating as they hadnt for more than a half century Killebrew was a feared figure at the plate and no more so than in 1969 when he slugged 49 homers and knocked in 140 runs and was named the MVP. From such heroics come these remarkable pinstriped game-worn pants which show a good deal of wear but remain problem-free and without evidence of alteration of any description. The Size 36 pants have the Wilson tagging at the waist alongside a strip tag with Killebrew 1969-24 Set 3. His No. 3 has been hand printed in marker at two locations on the waist and at a third the Hall of Famer has penned a solid black Sharpie autograph adding his No. 3 as an inscription. Pants show a good deal of game usage with dirt and staining visible at the appropriate locations front and back. This is a museum-worthy treasure from one of the beloved figures from the 1960s.
