1969 Montreal Expos inaugural season home jersey game worn by starting pitcher Carl Morton. Morton appeared in only 8 games for the expansion Expos in 1969 but the following year would see him go 18-11 with a 3.60 ERA and 4 shutouts for the 2nd year team to win the 1970 National League Rookie of the Year Award. Red, white, and blue Expos logo sewn on left front chest with "EXPOS" in blue sewn below. Right chest has Morton's number "44", also in blue. 100th Anniversary of Professional Baseball patch sewn on left sleeve. Back has large "44" sewn in the same blue. Rawlings size 44 , washing instructions, and "SET 1 1969" tags sewn in front tail. Beautiful jersey appears totally original and exhibits light/moderate game use. 1" by 3/4" blue ink stain along bottom edge of left tail.
