The 1968 St. Louis Cardinals were defending World Series champions who returned to the Fall Classic powered by one of the greatest pitching staffs in NL history.

 

This ONL Giles baseball carries 24 signatures from that storied team, with standout autographs visibly including Bob Gibson, Orlando Cepeda, Steve Carlton, Lou Brock, Dal Maxvill, Curt Flood, and numerous additional Cardinals. The signatures are applied in blue and black ink across the natural Spalding leather surface in the characteristic style of late-1960s team signings. Authenticated by JSA with a Letter of Authenticity. With Gibson, Brock, and Cepeda all deceased, this fully assembled Cardinals NL championship team ball is a historically significant piece representing the last great Cardinal dynasty of the 20th century.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
