This lot contains a nice pairing of team balls from the 1968 and 1969 New York Yankees. You will be hard-pressed to find balls from this era with such minimal condition issues (NM). The autographs come mostly in blue ballpoint and average 8/10.
The 1968 ball (22 authentic autographs) touts the likes of Rocky Colavito, Bobby Cox (HOF), Mel Stottlemyre (SS), Frank Crosetti (black ink), Tom Tresh, Roy White, Jake Gibbs, Dick Howser, Andy Kosco, Lindy McDaniel, Gene Michael, Bill Robinson, Stan Bahnsen, Fritz Peterson and others. The 1969 ball is loaded with 31 authentic signatures including GM Lee MacPhail (HOF), manager Ralph Houk (SS), Bobby Cox (HOF), Elston Howard, Jerry Coleman, Roy White, Jim Turner, Al Downing, Bill Burbach, Michael Burke (SS), Billy Cowan (SS), Stottlemyre, McDaniel, Howser, Peterson, Michael and many more.
