The ABA was a colorful league, literally and figuratively, and the apparel from many of the teams is classic and iconic among basketball aficionados. Such a team was the Minnesota Pipers.
Presented here is guard Jim Jarvis' Wilson size 44 warm-up jacket, artfully decorated with patches commemorating the team's 1968 ABA championship.
Jarvis wore jersey #20 for the Pipers. He was a college star at Oregon State, where he helped lead the Beavers to the 1963 Final Four, before joining the ABA.
