Offered is a high-grade rookie card from one of the top five hockey players of all time. Bobby Orr accumulated numerous accolades, including eight Norris Trophies as the NHL's best defenseman and three Hart Trophies as league MVP. He led the Boston Bruins to two Stanley Cup championships in 1970 and 1972, including scoring the championship-winning goal in 1970.
This 1966 Topps Bobby Orr rookie was graded NM-MT 8 by SGC and is in excellent condition. In the SGC population report, there are just six examples graded higher than this one. The example boasts near-perfect centering, a spotless surface, and beautiful picture image of the young Boston Bruin ready to take on the world of professional hockey. The only thing preventing the card from achieving an even higher assessment appears to be the corners, which are about NM. An incredible example for any serious hockey collection that perfectly portrays a young legend ready to begin his illustrious career.
