Pair of rare 1966 Los Angeles Dodgers Tour of Japan pins from the collection of long time 1964-70 Dodger catcher Jeff Torborg.
1) 1 ½” in diameter white enamel baseball pin with red white and blue United States flag and red and white Japanese flag above. Script “Dodgers” blue enamel logo across front of ball. “1966” and Japanese writing also on ball. Comes with the original red ribbon attached that features more Japanese writing. Pin comes in the original presentation snap down pouch.
2) 1 ½” in diameter pin with white enamel baseball at center with red white and blue enamel circling bands. “LOA ANGELES DODGERS JAPAN 1966” on the blue outside band. Come in what looks to be the original box. Missing back clasp.
Includes LOA from former Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Jeff Torborg who took part in the Tour of Japan.
