Offered here is an attractive game-worn road jersey from Dodgers infielder/outfielder Derrell Griffith a journeyman who played in parts of four seasons for Los Angeles in the mid-1960's with this jersey from his final season in the majors in 1966. The grey flannel jersey boasts the famed "Dodgers" scripted across the front in blue felt above Griffith's No. 29 in red; his No. 29 is also on the back in blue felt. The shirt has the appropriate Rawlings Size 40 tagging on the front left tail with some fraying of the end of the distinctive red tag "Griffith 66" is embroidered in Dodger Blue below the Rawlings tag and a Wash Instructions tag is even farther down essentially at the bottom of the tail with flag tag of "Set 1 1966." The shirt is in wonderful condition showing game use with only minimal fraying of the delicate red and blue stitching front and back but still essentially as-issued and problem free. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Family of Walter Alston.
