Even within the crowded field of George Clooney, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, and Val Kilmer, to most, Batman will always be Adam West. Through the mid-1960s television show, Adam West brought the comic book hero to life in living technicolor and into the homes of millions of fans. This Type 1 photo was taken on the set of the Batman program and depicts West’s Batman along with his faithful sidekick, Robin, played by Burt Ward. The front of the photo has a pleasing sepia toning with sharp contrast, with a 20th Century Fox catalog number printed in the lower right corner of the white border. The reverse is blank. The photo has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 Auth. by PSA/DNA.
