From 1965 to 1967 the Los Angeles Dodgers won a total of 265 regular season games and made it to back-to-back World Series winning it all in 65. This lot boasts the Los Angeles Dodgers official MacGregor scorekeepers book that includes the official record of hundreds of games including the World Series contests as well as Sandy Koufaxs perfect game that he pitched on September 9 1965 versus the Chicago Cubs. "B.Hunter" printed in blue pen (along with his phone number) on the 1st page (scan attached) stands for Bob Hunter of the Herald Examiner one of the Dodgers' four official scorekeepers during that special era. A great chunk of Dodgers history rolled up inside a small (8 wide by 5 high) spiral notebook.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
