To celebrate the 1966 FIFA World Cup, German petrol company Aral produced a set of numbered 4” x 6” postcards of the world’s greatest players. Today, as in 1966, the most sought-after card in the set was of Brazil’s Pelé. The soccer legend had led Brazil to victory in the 1958 and 1962 World Cups and would again in 1970. Examples of Pelé’s Aral Fussball Weltmeisterschaft postcards are among the most popular soccer cards in existence. Still, this one has been elevated to the next level by being signed by FIFA’s “Player of the Century.” Pelé’s signature is in bold blue marker, contrasting nicely with the yellow of his Brazil National Team jersey. The card has been encapsulated and authenticated by BGS & BAS Dual Authentic.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
