Offered is the sole Topps Vault File Copy of Carl Yastrzemski on his #77 card from the 77 card Topps Standup series released in 1964. The blank-backed and unnumbered cards were the first since the All-Star sets of 1951 to be die-cut. Intended to be handled, each card has a perforated image of the player on the front. Once folded, the image would "pop" from the center in order to create a "Stand Up" figure. Due the design and the fact that colored borders surround each card, finding high-grade examples is awfully tough.
This particular Topps Vault File Copy is a very exciting item for the Topps collector and the Yaztrzemski specialist. Encapsulated by BVG.
