Wilson CHICAGO BEARS football signed by 50 players and coaches of the 1963 World Champion Chicago Bears. Played at Wrigley Field in Chicago the game pitted the New York Giants powerful offense against the Bears smothering defense. In the end the Bears won the defensive battle 14-10. Caroline Rick Casares Angelo Coia Roger Davis Mike Ditka(HOF) Joe Fortunato Willie Galimore(2) Bill George(HOF) Larry Glueck(2) Bobby Joe Green George Halas(HOF) Bob Jencks John Johnson(2) Stan Jones(HOF) Ted Karras Bob Kilcullen Roger LeClerc Herman Lee Earl Leggett Joe Marconi(2) Billy Martin Chuck Mather Johnny Morris Larry Morris Tommy Neck Ed O'Bradovich Richie Pettibone Mike Pyle(2) Eldon Schulte Joe Stydahar(HOF)(2) Rosey Taylor Bill Wade Bob Wetoska Dave Whitsell Fred Williams Manny Youmans and a couple too light to read. About half of the blue ink signatures are 7-9/10 looking with the rest in the 2-6/10 range. All but a couple are very identifiable. Ball was originally obtained by the consignor's brother who grew up close to Wrigley Field in Chicago and became friends with a number of players. This ball was a gift from players themselves.
