Pete Rose, originating from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was born on April 14, 1941, dedicated two decades of his 24-year Major League career to his local Reds team. His determination and skill led him to accumulate 4,256 career hits, surpassing the former record of 4,189 established by the legendary Ty Cobb. His rookie card, part of the 1963 Topps release, stands out due to his youthful depiction at the age of 22 as a second baseman.
