In 1963, Sandy Koufax had an exceptional year, winning the National League Cy Young and MVP awards. He accomplished this by achieving the pitching Triple Crown and leading the Dodgers to victory in the World Series. This was not the only time Koufax achieved such remarkable success, as he would win the pitching Triple Crown again in both 1965 and 1966. It is worth noting that only three other pitchers in the game's history have ever won the Triple Crown even once. Koufax's dominance on the field was remarkable, and he was exceptional in postseason play. Undeniably, he is one of the greatest pitchers of all time.
