Rawlings size 44 1963 Los Angeles Angels home jersey game worn by pitcher Gordon Richardson during Spring Training at Palm Springs in 1963. Gordon was drafted from the St. Louis Cardinals by the 3rd year Angels and went to Spring training with them in 1963. When he did not make the Angels big league team the Cardinals exercised their right and bought him back. "ANGELS" in red felt trimmed in black across chest on front. Back has large "47" in red felt trimmed in black. "Richardson 44 63" in green script stitched in front tail. Below in faded black marker is printed what looks to be "B GILLEAN". Jersey exhibits very heavy use with some staining. Top 2 buttons are missing.
