This lot of three well-preserved, team-signed baseballs includes New York Yankees squads from 1962, 1963 and 1964. All three are signed on OAL (Cronin) balls. The Yanks won the AL pennant each year and took the '62 World Series (back-to-back) before dropping the next two Fall Classics to the L.A. Dodgers in '63 and St. Louis Cardinals in '64, respectively. Listed in image order.
1) 1962 World Champions ball comes in NM condition with 25 blue ink signatures averaging 6/10 in strength. Notables are Yogi Berra (SS)(HOF), Whitey Ford (HOF), Elston Howard, Turley, Richardson, Skowron, Terry, Bouton, Boyer, Pepitone, Tresh, etc. Mantle and Maris are Clubhouse. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG02535).
2) 1963 AL Champions ball comes in NM condition with 26 blue ink signatures averaging 7/10 in strength. Notables are Yogi Berra (SS)(HOF), Whitey Ford (HOF), Elston Howard, Richardson, Terry, Bouton, Boyer, Kubek, Houk, Tresh, Downing, etc. Metcalf, Pepitone, Mantle and Maris are Clubhouse. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG02534).
3) 1964 AL Champions ball comes in NM condition with 24 blue ink signatures ranging 6-8/10 in strength. Notables are Whitey Ford (HOF), Elston Howard, Richardson, Stottlemyre, Terry, Boyer, Tresh, Downing, etc. Bouton, Ramos, Berra, Mantle and Maris are Clubhouse. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG02536).
