A wonderful complement to several adjacent lots of team-signed balls of one of the most popular franchises in Major League Baseball the Minnesota Twins born with the expansion spasms in the early 1960s and quickly one of the leagues great teams to challenge a fading Yankees dynasty. This amazing group from the inaugural season in 1961 to the West Division title in 1969 includes a host of legendary figures from the earliest days of the franchise Hall of Famers Harmon Killebrew Bert Blyleven and Rod Carew Tony Oliva Jim Kaat Bob Allison and Jimmie Hall and the rest of the gang. Well break it down chronologically: 1) 1961 (inaugural season) truly an historic piece a baseball marking the launch of the franchise after the move from Washington with 22 strong ballpoint signatures on a nice condition Official AL Cronin ball including Harmon Killebrew Jim Kaat Don Mincher Billy Gardner Elmer Valo Hal Naragon Jack Kralick Dan Dobbek et. al in circular plastic cube; 2) 1962 29 signatures on a nice condition Official AL Cronin ball including Killebrew Allison Battey Kaat Rollins Lemon Mele Allen Power Tuttle Stange et. al in original Reach box (poor); 3) 1963 29 ballpoint signatures on a good condition ball possibly Official AL Cronin but stamping has faded including Killebrew Kaat Allison Pascual Battey Perry Power Wertz Mincher Allen Rollins Naragon Stange Mele et. al in plastic cube; 4) 1964 28 signatures on a nice condition Official AL Cronin ball including Killebrew Kaat Allison Pascual Battey Perry Power Allen Rollins Naragon Stange Mele et. al in circular plastic cube; 5) 1965 (American League Champions) 24 signatures on a nice condition Regulation League Cleveland Indians ball with Mele on the sweet spot and including Killebrew Oliva Kaat Allison Pascual Battey Perry Grant Allen Rollins Martin Lemon Worthington Kindall Stigman Mincher Nossek Hall Nelson Pleis Zimmerman Valdespino Tovar Klippstein and Kostro in a plastic cube; 6) 1966 25 signatures on an Official AL Cronin ball including Killebrew Martin Oliva Kaat Allison Pascual Battey Perry Grant Rollins Mincher et. al in a plastic cube; 7) 1967 32 signatures on a nice condition Official AL Cronin ball with Martin on the sweet spot Killebrew above the AL stamping Oliva Kaat Chance Perry Hall Allison Fowler Roseboro Tovar Boswell Mitterwald et. al in a circular plastic cube; 8) 1968 22 signatures on a nice condition Official AL Cronin ball (stamping slightly faded) with Ermer on the sweet spot Killebrew above the AL stamping Kaat Perry Hall Allison Tovar Rollins Reese et. al in a plastic cube; and; 9) 1969 (American League West Champs) 28 signatures on a nice condition Official AL Cronin ball with Ermer on the sweet spot Killebrew and Versalles above the AL stamping Kaat Oliva Martin Perry Battey Allison Lemon Chance Tovar Rollins Reese et. al in a plastic cube.
