Original news photo depicting Chicago Bears Tight End Mike Ditka during his rookie season and would eventually be used for his 1962 Topps Rookie card. This photo was issued by "Chicago Photo Press Photographers" and originates from the files of the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper evidenced by the three Plain Dealer stamps on the reverse. Two stamps are dated Dec. 7, 1961 and the other is January 2,1962. The original newspaper article is also affixed on the reverse. The photo measures 8x10" and displays some light creases and minor rippling along the base and is overall in VG-EX condition. Comes encapsulated in an old PSA holder and is accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1P05054)
